New and improved is an often misused phrase, but when it comes to the new 195LS and 195LX it couldn't be more appropriate. These models replace their shorter 19-foot versions and boast many enhancements designed to make good, better.
Performance is one area where these 19'6" bowriders really shine. Independent magazine tests confirmed that the former 190L outperformed competitive 19-footers across the board, but tests now reveal that the new 195's deliver even better performance numbers. Much of the reason is because the new 195's ride on Stingray's next-generation Z-Plane hull. Hull refinements include special contours to the running surface that extend beneath both sides of the integrated swim platform and create virtually three-point contact with the water at high speeds. The new hull performs so well that these boats surpass 60 mph with merely a V-6 sterndrive for power! The competition needs a V-8 to achieve the same mark. Look as you will, you won't find better performing, more fuel-efficient, 19-foot family bowriders anywhere!
Both models include curved bow seats that enhance both ergonomics and aesthetics, no-snag pop-up cleats, new dashes with increased visibility, larger swim platforms with recessed boarding ladders, more functional flat-mount glove boxes with top access and hinged floor stowage compartments.
Standard features found on both models include a Kenwood Hi-Power audio system, woodgrain instrument panel, engine hour meter, integrated cooler in the bow that doubles as a step, MyStingray.com personal web site and much more.
